2024 Show Dates

All reserved seating must be purchased online at phsproductions.booktix.com. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and will go on sale October 28.

Limited general admission seating will be available at the door for $5 for students and $10 for adults (payment available with cash or card). Please see the diagram below for further explanation.

Online viewing is available for purchase as well. Please scroll down for more information if you are interested in this option.

While this is a Disney production, Disney rates the material as PG and not advised for very young children.

*Parking information for the 2 PM show on Saturday: The band craft fair will be happening in the gym area during the 2 pm show on Saturday. Please use the main entrance or the entrance near the Career Academy if you are not planning to attend the craft fair before the show.

*If you had previously purchased tickets for the Friday evening show, those tickets are now good for Saturday's show at 2:00 PM. Please email ashlee.whittington@pellaschools.org if you have questions about your order.

Freaking Friday Online Viewing Information: (Check back soon for updated information)

You may purchase a $15 ticket to view a recording of Thursday Night's show at the scheduled time listed below. Think of this option as similar to how a movie theatre works, where you would purchase a ticket to view the show at a scheduled time. 

Thursday evening's show will be available for viewing at 2:00 PM on Friday, running through 9:30 PM on Saturday.

Freaky Friday is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. 

Synopsis of the Musical:

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again before mom’s big wedding. Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a hilarious, contemporary update on an American classic in which a mother and daughter really see what it is to be a family and experience each other’s lives first-hand, if only for a day.

“Delightfully spunky” with “timeless appeal” (Variety), Freaky Friday features a new book by Bridget Carpenter (Parenthood) and an original pop/rock score by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal). This dynamic story puts a fresh new spin on a “polished, peppy, modern fairy tale” (The Washington Post).
